Pricing
At Hunter, we offer two pricing options:
- All-in-one cold outreach platform — suitable for users who want, on top of having access to accurate contact data, to find companies and send personalized cold emails at scale.
- Data platform — suitable for users who need access to Hunter data only (via API or Bulk file processing).
Data Platform plans are flexible and based on how many credits you need. The credits are valid for 12 months or until fully used and can be purchased as needed. As a Data Platform user, you have access to the bulk tasks, the Hunter API, our Usage page, as well as controls over your account and subscription.
We offer monthly and yearly plans.
Here are the main differences you need to know:
Yearly plans
Yearly billing plans have a 12-month commitment and a single billing at the start of the plan. Annual plans are ideal if you know cold outreach is going to be an ongoing activity, and if your usage is going to be up and down, Annual plans allow you to use your entire credit allowance during the course of the year.
Some of the key advantages of our yearly plans include:
- Credits duration: are immediately available and last for 12 months.
- Credits expiration: credits do not expire monthly but only at the end of the 12-month billing cycle.
- Credits over quota: available.
- Pause option: not available.
- Upgrade/downgrade: can be upgraded or downgraded at any time - unused credits are rolled over in an extra pack for 12 months, and the cost of the new plan is billed.
- Saving: 30% reduction compared to monthly plans - reflected on the pricing page.
- Team: can be shared with unlimited team members at no extra cost.
Monthly plans
A monthly billing plan also has its advantages. This type of subscription has no long-term commitment and can be cancelled or paused at any time. We would recommend a monthly plan for users who are not ready to commit to a full year. It is also useful if you are still trying to determine your volume of usage before you lock in a plan for a full year.
- Credits duration: credits are available for 1 month.
- Credits expiration: credits will expire at the end of the monthly billing cycle.
- Credits over quota: available.
- Pause option: a monthly plan renewal can be paused anytime for 1, 2 or 3 months. The same plan will automatically restore after the pausing period with a 30% discount applied to the first renewal.
- Upgrade/downgrade: can be upgraded or downgraded at any time. Unused credits are rolled over in an extra pack for 3 months, and the cost of the new plan is billed.
- Saving: no discounts applied.
- Team: can be shared with unlimited team members at no extra cost.
How do we differentiate
- 1 search credit is counted from 1 to 10 email addresses found per domain with a Domain Search. This allows you to get up to 100 email addresses for 10 search credits.
- 1 search credit is counted for every email found with the Email Finder. A verification is included at no extra cost.
- 1 verification credit is counted for each email processed in the Email Verifier (except for Unknown and Disposable emails that are skipped). No credits are counted if Hunter cannot provide an email. You only pay for verified emails.
- Monthly plans: Each repeated search or verification is counted once per billing period.
- Yearly plans: Each repeated search or verification is counted once per calendar month.
- Campaigns for sending personalized cold emails at scale is free.
- Hunter Discover, our B2B database, is free.
- You don’t pay for extra team members.
- Access to Hunter API is available in the free plan.
- Free access to all integrations.
How to help people understand which plans to pick?
Create a free Hunter account and start prospecting using Hunter Discover, our comprehensive B2B database with powerful market segmentation features.
This will allow you to better understand your total addressable market (TAM).
Remember that Discover processes only publicly available data of businesses with websites. If your business focuses on an industry where having a website isn't common practice, you'll have limited data to determine your TAM.
Let's look at an example:
Imagine you're a marketing agency offering email marketing services for travel companies in the United States.
Below, you can see how simple filters in Discover would look to generate a list of U.S.-based travel companies:
Discover identified 5,452 companies matching your filters.
Let’s estimate you want to find 3 emails per company. It will cost you a maximum of 15,000 credits (see how our pricing works & how you can save credits).
You need to decide:
- Do you want to engage them all in month one?
- Do you have multiple company targets (beyond US travel)?
- How many times per year do you want to campaign to this audience?
From there, you can easily determine whether a monthly or annual plan is better and which plan fits your volume. In this example, the best option is either:
- Annual Starter plan: if this is the only audience your company wants to target.
- Annual Growth plan: if there are multiple audiences besides this one.
